For a standard, air-cooled Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), this isn't a simple paint job issue. The core challenge lies in the thermal management system itself.
Air-cooling works by pulling ambient air through the battery container to manage heat. In a salt-spray environment, that "ambient air" is laden with conductive, corrosive chloride particles.
